A note about fees:
My fees reflect the depth and investment behind this work — including many years of advanced and ongoing trainings, as well as the time, care, and attention that support your healing both in and outside of sessions.
I offer a few sliding scale slots for low-income individuals with limited access to resources—please inquire if cost is a barrier to receiving support.
do you offer telehealth SESSIONS?
Yes! I offer telehealth therapy for clients who reside in California and Washington state.
DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON SESSIONS?
I offer in-person sessions for Ketamine-Assisted Therapy in Berkeley only. All individual therapy sessions are conducted via telehealth.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
While I don’t bill insurance directly, I can provide “superbills” for out-of-network potential reimbursement, should your plan offer those benefits. If you're unsure what your plan covers, I encourage you to reach out to your provider to learn more about your options.
DO YOU OFFER CONSULTATIONS?
Yes, I offer prospective clients a free 20-minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit.
DO YOU OFFER SHORT OR LONG-TERM THERAPY?
Therapy is most effective when conducted on an ongoing and consistent basis. I recommend sessions on a bi-monthly or weekly basis. If you are experiencing a crisis, sudden loss, or significant life change, then short-term therapy can be helpful to assist you through a challenging time. EMDR is an effective short-term therapy method for treating trauma.
Good faith estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your medical and mental health care. Health care providers must provide an estimate of charges for services to individuals who are uninsured or not using insurance. You may request a Good Faith Estimate before scheduling a service. If your final bill is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the charges. Please keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for reference.
